I went bungee jumping for the first time a couple of days ago. It was terrifying, but an amazing experience. The jump was at Chicago skydiving center,Naperville, we drove like an hour to get there, and it was 160 ft.
When i wrote my name down on the paper, i was still consumed in excitement,making fun of my friend who didn't want to jump,when the moment of truth came and as move towards the edge i chickened and really freaked out,i was thinking about the bungee accidents and what if i'm too heavy ,it was all the scary unusual scenarios in my mind,an attendant try to comfort me,he didn't do much he just kept saying don't look down,the truth is i couldn't even imagine myself doing it,and it was my friends turn to make fun of me saying that they brought me a new pants that i may need (mean ppl),without thinking i closed my eyes and let myself go,OMG it was the most amazing feeling of all,The rush, the adrenaline, the release...
Such a liberating experience,It is worth trying, and I'd love to do it again.
